# Cluster Management Tools

## Overview

This section presents some tools that you can use to administer a cluster of containers.

## Kubernetes Dashboard

Kubernetes comes installed with its own management portal called the Dashboard. See the [Deploy and Access the Kubernetes Dashboard](https://kubernetes.io/docs/tasks/access-application-cluster/web-ui-dashboard/) Kubernetes article for more information.

See the [Access Kubernetes resources from the Azure portal](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/aks/kubernetes-portal?tabs=azure-cli) Microsoft article for instructions on how to connect to it in Azure Kubernetes Service.

## VMware Octant

[Octant](https://octant.dev/) is an open source software from VMware to visualize Kubernetes clusters. You can also edit some YAML definitions and forward ports directly to your machine.
